Born in the summer of 2018 on the shores of Lake Garda, Hearts Apart emerged from an idea sparked at Lollollo Fest, between a set by Hooligans’n’Roses and Labradors. The goal? To channel into punk rock and rock’n’roll the existential frustration of nearing forty, with Marked Men as a guiding light.

Three friends soon found themselves in the rehearsal room, fueled by cheap beer and an unstoppable creative drive. Within a year, they had written 40 songs and welcomed two bassists: first, a devoted Stooges fan, then a seasoned bike polo player.

The band made their live debut in spring 2021, traveling to their first gig in a beat-up pickup truck, performing in a mountain refuge at 1,825 meters above sea level. Since then, their raw energy has materialized in their first EPs, Number One To No One and Bang! Wrong Again. In March 2023, both works were compiled into a single LP, an auto-split featuring two different covers designed by Irene Palladini.

With three years of shows under their belt, Hearts Apart continue to bring their passion for punk rock, rock’n’roll, and pop punk to the stage, blending melody, intensity, and a healthy dose of self-irony. Their approach is raw and emotional, proving that crying while dancing is possible.

Less machos, more nachos.
Does it make sense? Maybe not. But then again, just like life itself, not everything needs a clear logic to be fully experienced.
